In early April 2024 the Mid America League’s Texarkana team officially named the team as the Texarkana Rhinos. Here is more information:

“We are in the business of entertainment. And, of course, we are going to be putting out an extreme level of baseball onto the field,” Gest said. “But we are going to have a whole lot of fun doing it, so Texarkana Rhinos fits that idea.”
“Texarkana offers a solid market and great geographic fit with 150,000 people in the metro area and a quality facility in George Dobson Field,” Mid-America League President Matt Perry said in announcing Texarkana’s membership. “We are excited to return a summer baseball franchise to the market.”

In late February 2024, the Mid America League announced that Texarkana will play in the league’s first season. The team name is still to be announced.
